Looking for a caring, talented and skilled Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine Practitioner in Virginia Beach, VA. We are a holistic wellness clinic that believes in bringing western and eastern medicine philosophies together and are currently looking for an Acupuncturist that shares in our passion to help our community to live a more proactive healthy lifestyle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide appropriate Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine clinical services; Performs initial and ongoing evaluations, assessments and screens to guide effective clinical treatment and direct personalized plans of care to our patients/customers. 
  • Develops and adjusts plans of care and treatment for each patient. Demonstrates safety, knowledge, proficiency and good judgement of use in various therapeutic procedures, interventions, and modalities within your scope of practice. 
  • Administer acupuncture treatment using sterile, single use needles; maintain a safe and clean treatment environment and adhere to proper disposal of needles; complying with best practice procedures, rules, regulations, and laws. 
  • Help develop customizable electronic health records for evaluations and treatments provided; Document appropriately in patient’s health records.  Must complete treatment documentation in a timely manner while treating clients to assure medical billing claims get generated as needed. 
  • Mindful of customer service provided. Our goal is to make sure our patients/clients feel safe and cared for by being an advocate for their healing.  
  • Coordinates resources with our team members when appropriate to provide excellent clinical care and customer experience.
  • Develops good working relationships with internal and external customers by treating co-workers, patients and their families with respect and dignity. 
  • Interact in a professional manner, and create a positive influence in the workplace. 
  • Work with team members to keep treatment rooms tidy and supplies stocked; Place restocking orders before supplies run out. 
  • Work with the Marketing team to support Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine marketing efforts and assure an accurate representation of your services or communicated to the community. 
  • Must be able to maintain a positive appearance and attitude and comply with the company's professional image: business casual dress code or scrubs can be provided. 
  • Maintain up to date Virginia State Licensure and legal compliance with providing clinical care. 
  • Maintain strict patient, customer, and company confidentiality with personal health and company proprietary information.
